Are most of your best answers chosen by voters or the asker?!

Are most of your best answers chosen by voters or the asker?

99% of my best answers are chosen by voters. Isn't a little anti-climatic when you take the time to write out a thoughtful answer and the asker doesn't even take the time to choose a best answer? I know sometimes all answers are good so they choose to leave it to vote, but this happens when my answer is the ONLY answer too? why don't people vote for best answers, you get three points!

I prefer to choose myself, but sometimes it's slim pickings or all answers are incorrect. In those situations I just can't choose so I put it to vote.

But I know what you mean. If the question was important enough to ask, why the heck can't you let us know what you've decided to do? We like feedback!

I'm not sure what my percentage is - I've been out here forever and it takes DAYS to get through all my past questions. I'm guessing it's probably 60/40 Asker/Votes.
