Bunch of questions here about this so bare with me. I have 5 different varieties of peppers, jalapeno, 2 different chili peppers, habenaros and some banana peppers that I want to jar for like nachos etc. I have a receipe that says to mix 1 part of sugar and 1 part of 5% acid vinegar, that's where my first question lies. Does this mean like if I use 3 cups of vinegar to also use 3 cups of sugar? Next, can I mix all 5 kinds of peppers into like a medley of sliced pickled peppers? Last question, the receipe doesn't call for onions or garlic. Do you think it would be ok to ALSO put onions and garlic in this medley?? Please let me know! If you have a quick easy receipe for making these w/o boiling and all that, I would appreciate it!

A high sugar ratio may not be the taste your looking for on nachos.
I vacuum pack my fresh fruit and veggies and store them in the freezer. I usually put a little lemon on the fruit to keep it from turning color. Sometimes I add vinegarettes to the veggies.
