okay I'm gonna go all scientifical on yas so i better get best answer for this!!!! cold causes the molecules of any substance to slow down and constrict, as heat speeds them up and causes expansion, like when your trying to get a lid of a jar and you run it under hot water, so the answer is yes cold water causes shrinkage to any substance containing molecules including big willy , or in this case chilly willy...

and as far as looking like a prune , depends on the biological makeup of the individuals body and the bodies acclimation to cold tempatures
