Do you contribute to great charities?!

Question:

Do you contribute to great charities?

Seriously, as a mom who has had a child with cancer...I don't think you could spend a buck a better way than to help a cause like this...these homes house families who have to drive in from far away for treatment for their kids...you cannot know what a great thing this is and how important this support is. Thought I'd put a plug in because one day it could you be in this boat. If you watched the show last night you can't not have been touched by those strong, brave kids. We need to get this beat people. Kids don't deserve this.

I have always been involved in fundraising..wow almost 30 year now..some people hate it but I love it..even a dollar when you think there are millions of people is something! I'm not in as great financial shape anymore either..in fact its funny how life turns on a dime..but everyone can always do something. Any act of kindness is a seed which is infectious right?

Thanks ombre, but no thanks...with one chance at curing your child you go with the proven.

Answers:

I have a 4 year old daughter, trust me when I say its something I fear......the C word. During my 4 year tour in the U.S. Army, I had $10 per paycheck go to each of the following charities.......Children's Lukemia Research, Asthma Research, Diabetes Research, and Alzhiemers Research. I forget which organizations exactly, but I picked them because they have almost all affected me or someone I know. Watching a child who has a clean slate in this world suffer is one of the hardest things to do. My heart goes out to those in need. I would donate more now If I could get my own situation under control.
