Are you desensitized to death?!

Question:

Are you desensitized to death?

I am very desensitized to it....a guy could be shot dead in front of me and id probably just look and keep walking.

how bout you?

Answers: I am not desensitized but the older i get the less scarier it seems. I actually did have a kid shot in the head in front of me as a youth. I dont think that the kid was dead because it seemed as though he were trying to communicate something or it could have been that the bullet took away all functions except the reflexes which would explain the kids mouth moving. I use to love to watch horror films and now I am really turned off by excessive violence. It depends on the victims... Well, not to my own or that of anyone I love or anyone I am remotely interested in. Strangers, maybe. Well, the scene you described would freak me out a bit. It is probably very gory. blod and guts dont bother me I would probably check to see If there was someting I could do to help of if the the law should handle it I'm the same way. I would just scream because it shocked me. But I wouldn't be crying or saying stuff like,... "that's horrible". I would just move on...

Like, when my grandfather died (i was close to him), I didn't cry or anything. Or even showed any type of emotion. People thought I was a freak because I didn't even cry for my own grandfather....

=/ No, death effects me very deeply I am very sensetive on that level. I'm married to a nurse. At one time she was an ER nurse. She would come home and tell me about the 10 people who died during her shift. Now, the stories don't affect me as much.... unless it's someone I've met, or at least someone I know or know their family. no way!!!!!!!! i cry really easy..
