Answers: Because it's the "distribution of blame" factor. You wouldn't do something by yourself because you would be criticized individually, but in a group, you share the blame with everyone else and you're not blamed as much. Because they have a very weak backbone. Peer Pressure

Drugs and Alcohol peer preasure it's called mob mentality or mob hysteria...like when sports fans riot...they wouldn't do it under normal circumstances but when they all get together they pump each other up. Mob psychology. cowards
