A friend of mine called me this morning at 6:55AM while she was on her way to work to say "I know me and my hubby are coming over tonight and I just wanted to know if we needed to bring anything". WTF??!?!? I didn't have to wake up until 7:30!! This couldn't have freakin' WAITED?!?!? I seriously almost cussed her out for that mess.
What's been your worst experience with an early-morning caller?
Answers: We used to live down the street from several hotels and sort of a business park area. We lived next door to a church parking lot.
One morning about 5am (it sounded like right outside our bedroom window) There was this terribly loud yell and then what sounded like hundreds of people yelling. It startled us awake and when we came to our senses we realized they were chanting. We finally scrambled to the front door to see this troop of military people jogging down the street just like they were at a military base shouting there little running chants.
Don't get me wrong we support our troops but this was about 6 months after 9/11 and it scared the hell out of us!
It was not the place for them to be doing that down a residential street at 5am!
I thought about calling the cops but didn't. One of our neighbors must have though because about 30 min later a cop car pulled into the parking lot and began talking to the driver of the van that had carried the troop there.
They were shipping out and staying in a nearby hotel and decided to go for a morning run to stay in shape! OK but must you shout????? yep or yu have to teetee Someone called me at 3 am and cussed me out. It was a wrong number. I was so angry I couldn't go back to sleep for about 30 mins. it was sunday and i woke up to the light and i was going to go back to sleep when i heard the phone ring, so i ran downstairs, bowling over my sleeping cats on the way, and answered the phone to a freakin telemarketer. i pressed the star button alot. My ex's r-tarded (now ex) boyfriend calling me to talk about childish drama at 1:00 am - accusing me of things that had nothing to do with me My cat cries to be out every morning at 5.00am, the alarm is due to go off at 5.15am - a vital 15minutes i got this friend that will call until i answer so i have to turn my phone on silent
i get mad at him but hes like a bro so i dont really care
i know hes gonna keep callin and he knows i not gonna answer
its just fun to pull ur friends strings sometimes My baby kitty woke me up this morning at 4!! I don't get up till 5:30!! I did get up at 430 though! Lil'l pain in the ****!
? my mother-n-law calls all the time early, and then she will say whatcha doing? uh trying to sleep!! grrr really bugs me!! When living in Florida we were awakend at 4:30 one morning by a loud knocking on the front door. My hubby told me to stay put and went to the door carrying his baseball bat. (He didn't answer the door with it in his hand THANK GOD he left it beside the door out of sight.
It was the police! They said they had gotten a 911 call from this address and it was a woman screaming. They asked if Jason was alone and he said no that his wife was in bed and they wouldn't leave until I came to the door to prove I was allright. So I had to get up put on a robe and come to the front door!
I don't know who called 911 or where they really were but I kept thinking "while you guys are waisting time here someone else could be dying cause YOU got the wrong address!" WHen i was in middle school i was sleeping and my school didn't start till 8;30 and 1 of my friends called me around 4:30 and told me it was picture day and then i yelled at her because i knew that i would have bags under my eyes for picture day, she woke me up at 4:30! I was woken up by my downstairs neighbours (who work for the probation service) playin music at 2am in the morning untill after 6am. Then to make sure i was awake they got their curtain poles and proceeded to bang their ceilings (which is my floor) and shout unintelligable nonsense at me. The noise was so loud it woke up the other 4 tennants in the building. They decided to open their windows to share their music with the rest of the street. Course we told the landlords who have done nothin except get the lads to apologize...well, only one of them has. The other one cant even look us in the face. But apparently i make a lot of noise too...walking from my living room/bedroom to my kitchen - even though i dont wear shoes in the flat, i dont have music on or tv and if im on the pc i wear headphones...oh yea, flushin the toilet is too noisy as well.
