i only know something like wear costume festival Halloween is a Pagen Holiday also known as All Hallows Eve & @ midnight the spirits of the dead can walk the earth w the living....its also the celbration of the HArvest Crops & its celebrated in todays time by children dressing up as ghouls & such & begging for treats from neighbors....the dressing up part dates back to people dressed up so that the dead/undead would not be able to tell them from other undead/to blend in.....tho Im not to sure at this time why we beg for treats.....

to sacrafice to the weener gods. Halloween in Australia is......well.....I don't think we got the spirit of the thing quite right.
Here it's only for adults and this is the way it goes:
You knock on the vict..........friendly nieghbours door and bellow "Trick or treat".
At this time you already have the 4wd and heavy tow chain connected to their front fence, and a very cranky wild crocodile you caught in the creek earlier, ready to be released into their pool round back.
As the $100. bill slides under the front door, you growl a command into the walkie-talkie.
The sound of chains being released from around the fence and the grunts of complaint from the disappointed croc being trundled away from a perfectly acceptable pool on a six wheeler trolly, echo up and down the road as the next potential victo.........customer next door scrambles off to the ATM for cash.
(What more would you expect from the country that brought you Gladiator and Crocodile Dundee )
