shouldn't it be up to the asker if someones answer should be reported?
Answers: It should, but everyone seems to take things to seriously around here (Internet).
I hate people who do that Some people are just immature How do you know who reports it? maybe that person who some1 who is more knowledgeable to the question posted... LOL called power! ha ha ha no
because maybe the asker is a tos rules breaker too I will report if its nasty! or calling someone a f@#$## N%^^$# Some people can't mind their own business, and I totally agree with you, yes it should be up to the asker. : ) Unfortunately people ask questions that bait others to say the worst things possible, so why would the asker report them if it was the point of their question?
The point of having people report questionable content is to keep it pleasant for all, at least, try to. If it is really vulgar and obscene, then you should report it. But too many people seem to report an answer just because they don't agree, or are jealous of the person who answered, or are holding a grudge. I just got a violation notice for that! I answered a question when it was clean. Then she added Dirty Details. So I get punished for answering the question!
I don't feel that is right, punishing people for answering clean questions that a then warped after answers. If I knew she changed her question I would have been able to delete my answer and taken a 2 points lost not the 12 points!
