Answers: Two words; explosive diareaha (<--spelling?). Nobody will want to know anymore about it! call in drunk Well, try dead, maimed or maybe dismembered!!!!! your _________ suddenly had to go to the hospital. death or jail, that's all....phones are way to accesible to not be able to call in... Being in jail. Having a very sick or in peril family member (and you were too distraught to call). throwing up always works.
? call in dead. i did, last time i ran out of excuses. i called and said i died so i wont be coming in today. none because they are all lies, grow up! Nothing that would allow you to come the next day. You were in so much pain, you passed out. Woke up 3 hours late but they still make me come in! There is no good excuse for a no call no show.
As an employee you have certain responsibilities and one of them is to at least call and notify if you can't make it. One of my FORMER co-workers, once called in saying he couldn't make it in because his cat had died.
Or, claiming strep-throat will probably give you a couple of days. have a friend call in for you and tell them you have passed away. I know you want funny but you have to be realistic. Tell them you tripped over your dog and sprained your wrist. say my car was stolen and so was all my neighbors and there is no public transportation to come to work and since I cant afford anything I cant make it in today.

The fire department is going to inspect your home/apartment to see if everything meets the current fire code restrictions A bear attacked me on a parking lot. Sorry to disappoint you, but there are none. Whatever you say, it's pretty obvious to everybody that it's a lie. Any reasonably responsible person calls when emergency really happens, especially now in the era of cell phones. if u have sick leaves left in ur account, they have to give u a leave. if u have to call or not depends on what kind of job u r doing.
if somebody replacing ur place is necessary u have to call. or else when u go to work tomorrow tell them u have some private reasons for not coming to work.
no body will force u to disclose ur private life excuse....I havent grown up yet, and thought Mondays were optional.......... Hit deer on route to work ,power outage - couldn't find telephone,alien abduction, car trouble.
