I see Lowe's has Christmas trees on display already...is this too early?
...does it annoy you when stores decorate for Christmas months before the actual holiday, or don't you mind? I for one hate it because it drains the exitement out of the holiday by the time it actually arrives.

It overshadows Halloween :( no this is totally normal..i used to work for a department store and they would start to decorate around this time..its only like
80 something days till xmas and yes i hate it...it does drain the excitment and it reminds you of how much ur going to spend Yep, sad, I saw it Friday at Lowe's, quite annoying, it's only September. I think it is... It's not even halloween yet! it gets earlier each year when they out it out but don't be surprised. My store put out Halloween costumes in June and Christmas is now stuff is now already out but, people are buying it up like you won't believe or asking for it now. I thought it was crazy too but there are people who like to beat the rush. I KNOW!!!!
When I see the decorations and stuff early ,like now,it reminds me to hurry up and that I will be broke by the end of the year.
But I love Christmas!!!! lol it does annoy me, because when we finally get to december, everyone is already bored with the decorations. it takes away from the excitement.
i agree...way too early. christmas decorations shouldn't be in stores until mid-november at the earliest, in my mind. that is way too early, i thought they usually wait until at least halloween! it totally ruins the mood for christmas before THANKSGIVING even rolls around....i hate it..... Alot of people I talked with last year, think it makes the holidays less in meaning more and more. By the time the holidays arrive you are sick of hearing about it and just want to get it over with. I love the holidays, but it seems to me it has been more and more about money than the meaning of love, family and much more. But I feel that the consumer lets this happen, because we waited to start the companies would have to. And this would stop. Its too early...
