Hey,
I have this yearboook question that all my year has to fill out. The question is:
"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
My first reaction was to put 'Happy', but i dont want people thinking im a loser,'sad' and so on - that kind of thing.
What do you think of that answer? Or should i just put some career which nobody knows or cares if i make up? Would people think im not happy at school now??
I now im worrying over it too much, but theres no change there.

Oh i know they mean career =] happiness is the best answer to the question that's posted. we all want and need happiness at almost every point of our life. we pursue it and there is nothing wrong in doing so. no underlying idea behind seeking happiness, it does not mean you are sad now. it's human nature to seek happiness in everything we do, in every person we meet and in every walk of our life. happiness in career, in a relationship, in a family, in friendship and to top it all in LIFE. you are being more practical in mentioning "HAPPY" as your answer.
so stop thinking about others reaction to your answer. you mean it and that's what matters, ain't it?. that's what we all want in life...every one on the face of the earth. i think happiness and peace go hand in hand. if you have peace of mind and heart, happiness will simply follow. seek peace and you shall find happiness automatically. seek peace not that which the world gives but that which God, the living Lord gives, as promised. my simple earthly understanding. write happy and who cares what they will think. right i want to be a successful than anyone then right i want to be the next mlk but i dont want to get shot muaha. I think they mean career...or emotion...such as happy!=D Say an elephant! An elephant! Happy's a good answer but vague, who cares if they think your sad. To be honest that's all everybody wants. no happys fine, it can be taken in several ways not just that you might be sad now Wow! A question in a question... nice concept.
Well I for one think that your answer is simple, genuine & gutsy..
Unless it is a MUST to answer a 'career' strictly then ure busted (marks,etc)...
Other than that, I would say 'never care what others say' coz every single Tom, Dick & Harry will have a say and each time it will be a different say! So why bother listening to their say?
I say u go ahead & be different!
It doesnt matter w/r ur a doctor, lawyer, etc & w/r ur good at it or not..
what matters and 'stay matters' is w/r u'll be happy?
w/r u'll be guaranteed to be happy?
& I also hope that you continue to really think what you wanna do with your life (not just by asking this 'happy' question) and act towards it...
coz I just simply hope someone as positive as you to stay positive & cool!!
