When a woman is called Delilah it means? lol "Hooligan". Sir name of a troublesome Irish family in London in the 19th century. It came about by the police referring to them as "Oh the Hooligans are out again" meaning the family, the name soon became associated with any troublesome people..... Tom Dick and Harry!!! Osama Bin Ladin

Uncle Chester the Molestor

Norman Master Bates DICK Dick. Dick after Richard Dick
:) Fanny by gaslight You're a right old Doris you are...... Richard Head (name of my headmaster at school, poor bloke) Warrick Hunt. Nigel no mates, nancy boy , Harry hoofter hee hee hee, this is good fun! Jezebel, Shylock, Scrooge. Hitler ! and Judas ... Gaylord (yes it really was a name!!) Benedict Arnold Little Lord Fauntleroy. I think it likens to a spoiled assed boy brat. Bush mccan Wally, Nancy (as in Nancy boy), Dick

Edit - for the Happy Murcia, I actually worked with a woman whose surname was "Holigan" - I am sure her name must have descended from "Hooligan" originally. John Howard.cant tell you what it means ill get reported.but its like a deceased female naughty part. Shitta When I seen this question it reminded me of a little girl I know right now that is in my class and she has been abused and horrible things have happended to this child, but they named her Shy and the kids pick on her and I started calling her by her first and middle name together to stop it, I call her Shy Lee, and now they have stopped picking on her for the most part.I also comment often on how pretty the name Shy Lee is, and I can tell her confidence level has grown. Even the kids seem to act different too towards her now! in america jesse is a cool guys name, in scotland it means your a big wimp.

wasn't vandal someones name?

it means she will cut your hair off if you don't shut it! what about john and willy??LOL
check your dictionary!! Hooker, after General Hooker of the US civil war. Quisling, after a Norwegian collaborator with the Nazis, although you don't hear that term very often now, Uncle Tom, although why blacks use that term I don't know, for he got treated like dirt. Judas, for just about any British politician in power. Being a Brit. I have never heard the term 'Poindexter'. James Blunt is now rhyming slang for...well...I can't say, but it's not too hard to fathom out :o) My father's name is Walter Thomas - commonly known as Wally - which was all well and good until a Wally suddenly became an idiot. 'Captain Jammer kids' ... meaning ~ lil' trouble makers.

'Gotta keep up with the Jone's' ... meaning ~ If a person you know buys something you don't have, you have to go out and buy it too ... believing that the more personal possessions you have ... the better person you are.

'She went totally OJ on me' ... meaning ~ She went totally nuts and was capable of anything. Sally Rand. I really made a research about who Sally Rand was. It was said she was a famous stripper. Now, the name would refer to something that looks great at first....but actually has nothing on it ( like the famed stripper).

An example, a great looking car...all-shiny and sleek-looking in the showroom. But when you drive it...it's not what you think it's going to be. And it's nothing the way it looks. The car come s with nothing but just shiny and sleek looking. A Sally Rand (it comes with nothing)
