this is a serious question, i really need help

Answers: Hey sweetie... I just asked a similar queston about a month ago for a friend of mine. There are porbono lawyers in our state. They are just really hard to find. Try contacting www. Romingerlegal.com. , www.legalaid.org, or www.FindLaw.com....They do free child support cases in FL... they were very helpful in directing me to help my friend.
Have a greaat day sweetie! no..Not in my state..But you always have a free consultaion..So talk to as many as you can if you can't actually afford one! call this place called support kids. they are supposed to help with child support issues....they may be able to lead you to the right place... um...you might wanna ask that question in the legal category or something I feel you baby. Here in GA they do not. Now we do have a state sponsored Child Support Enforcement Agency. However - they cannot get blood out of a turnip. I have just filed a case with them and it doesn't look good. Best I can hope for is that they will suspend the sorry bastard's drivers license - but you know what honey - if he is too sorry to pay child support - then he doesn't care if he's driving with a suspended license. Let's look online and see what FL has. I'm with you. ? Yeah they do...go to the blue pages of your phone book and look for Public Attorneys...call any of them and ask them who can help you. There are a ton of them that get paid by the state to help. Also, you can contact any Women's Abuse Home (i know it's not abuse, but they have contacts) and talk to one of the counselors about it. They're there to help you.

by the way, if you need help, send me an email later on. I'll be home at around 6pm tonight, and I can try to get you in the right direction. You can call a lawyer hotline to find out. I don't know about where you live, but I got one in MA. Marla's advice is the best. Along with tbm's of course.

Good luck, Sweetie. In my state you can go to "Legal Aid" and they assess your income for no cost or low cost legal help. they have a child support enforcement agency
you can look it up on the net .i wasted thousands of dollars in court with lawyers trying to get support and got nothing
6 months with them and have collected 2 thousand dollars
he still owes me 10 thousand but its a start Marla's right.
Also, I would suggest calling your local church because they have lots of parishoners who are lawyers for big firms and many of them to pro-bono work as part of community outreach.
