Someone answering with "idk" someone who is rude when there is no cause for rude answers.....grrrrrrrr yes Answers that have nothing to do with the question. It's like did you even read the question or did you just feeling like telling me some random bit of information? When someone answers a question with "I'm not answering this question" uhhhh?
Or just gives some lame sarcastic answer. an answerer who says--i don't understand your question
or says something irrelevant to my question, like "you look like a *****" One word answers or thanks for the 2 points. Why be irritated?
Where else can you ask these types of questions? for me, thumbs up or downs which comes form the others are not interesting i just choose the best answer for my questions no body else When people are just plain mean, I asked a serious question and was told by answering people, I was stupid, shallow, etc.
P.S. I withdrew the question minutes later. I hate when people rate my answers a thumbs down just because they don't agree with what I said or they don't like my joke!
I think the thumbs down should be reserved for being who post mean-spirited comments. I think the worse answer is when the person starts insulting the asker of the question. Such as, "that can't be the whole story," or "maybe you did something to make the other person act that way," etc. Yes, I agree that many people are rude, insulting and don't really give an answer. Why they put something like "IDK" just for the 2 points puzzles me because the points aren't worth anything, anyway. If people don't like or can't answer the question just go onto the next question. Same way with questions - some of them don't really make sense, so answerer's need to just skip by them without comment. This whole site of Q&A is quite imformative and I like to get and give sensible answers. And how about those that don't use spellcheck? Grrrr! (Great question, by the way!) Yes that is annoying. There are some that for no good reason give a thumbs down. To everyone ahead of them. And I don't speak just for myself. But many times I go to answer. And everyone has a thumbs down. Apart from that I dislike the asker warning one how to answer. Examples, don't lecture me on what is safe or not just answer the question.
About asking. I don't ask much. Here in polls is the most asking I have done.
About simple things like do you like bacon and eggs? I do that just to give others a chance to answer simple questions and make points. Because as we all know. If your in level 1. You need to try to get to level 2 so you can participate in many things.
