But if you choose the best answer, you get back 3 of the 5 points you lost when you asked it. Yes 10 points Absolutely! The person who is voted as Best Answer receives 10 points, everyone who votes on the question receives 1 point and the asker receives 3 points once a Best Answer has been chosen by The Community. Yes. Yep - they get 10! Yes, they would still get 10 points. Yeah, the person who got best answer will get 10 pts plus [# of thumbs-ups] received. yea, 10 points. Yes have you not ever been chosen??? Sure does Yes, you get the 10 points for best answer whether the person who asked the question picks 'best answer' or whether it's done through voting. yep all 10 of em...and you get nothing, u should just pick yourself, at least u get 3 of yer 5 points back :-) Yes, but you don't get the points viz the 3 points you would have got if you chose it yourself. Which ever answer gets chosen as best, gets the 10 pts., whether it's the asker or the voters who select it.
