when you read a book in your head do you do diffrent voices for the people in the book
Answers: Yes I do.
I bet you talk quickly I do!!! I try but I don't think my imagination is that good yes no ive never thought about it yes i do ive never thought about it before............good question Yes. It all is like a movie to me, especially if I really enjoy the book. But I also enjoy WRITING and ACTING so that could be a related character trait. lmao. i think I do. Yeah. The voices I think of change sometimes through out the book because er..Characterization. sometimes but just to let you know your hot! I do, I always used to do it when I was reading out loud in front of class as well. yeh i have a really good visual memory too so i actually picture them how i think they would look and almost play the story like a movie in my head its brill. its not strange,i read the way i think they speak!!! I don't but others probably do. hahahhah Yes, good question ahahahha
;-) Well I'm so used to reading stories out loud to my 3 year old daughter using a variety of voices that yes, I do use different voices when reading in my head!!!!
Good question. I always assume the characters have high pitched squeaky voices, and are naked. yes Nupe. Of course! It's all part of the experience. I also do really good accents in my head but when i try to say them they sound ****. Yes !!..
but when try doing it for my daughter they all sound the same which sucks... Definitely. Especially if I'm reading a book like Star Trek or Doctor Who/Torchwood .... I can hear the actors' voices when the characters speak. Yes and thank goodness someone else does, I get right into character with some of the people in the books I read. if its a book by someone famous i will read as if they are speaking to me although with audiobooks on i-tunes they are!!! yes. i think that's normal Sometimes but more likely if the book series is also a series of films like Harry Potter. Just finished the last book yesterday... lol yes i think most people do at the moment i have one about a scots detective and everything he says is in a scottish accent in my head That's so true! Really weird!
