I met who I thought was a very nice, humorous person on here. I told this person that I, by nature was a giver. I told her that I basically enjoyed helping people. She told me that she wasn't a giver and stopped talking to me. What should I do, if anything to remain a friend to her? Please help!!! Additional Details

You are a good person at heart and I dont think you should change that for anyone.Its her lost.She wont miss you until her well runs dry.Then she may probably think back on the days when she had a giver as a friend.
Be the sweet,loving person you are and remember that when you try to please everyone you end up becoming an unhappy person.be who you want to be and if it is positively affecting someones life then I guess you should feel satisfied and content.If you are not satisfied,content or happy with who you are right now then "giving" would not have been your nature.Think about it and what makes you happiest.
