What's your favorite slow cooker meal?
Answers: beef stew lots of beef and red potatoes, carrots, onion, salt and pepper and I always add brown gravy packets but don't forget to make corn bread MMMM Chili,,,although I made a mean meatloaf the other night in it... chilli I made some Thai chicken in it once. Pretty decent. corned beef chilli using steak spicy salted vege with pork leg, duck soup, soy sauce duck/pork, etc... Homemade stew or Texas Chili!! The slower the better. Chili, but that's only because I don't know many other recipes. I also like hamhocks and pinto beans. I'd like to try other things. Roasts are good. I haven't tried a whole seasoned chicken yet. Pot roast HOME MADE vegetable beef stew, and chili (with a bit of cheese and onion, a bit of skillet corn bread, and an ICE COLD beer~wow that sounds like a meal for this weekend!!) Tip.
NEVER cook one minute steaks in a slow cooker.
It costed me for sixty of 'em just so I could run the stupid thing for one hour.
