Munchausen Syndrome is when psychos hurt themselves to get attention. I think what Sharpie meant was Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. That's when they hurt others for the attention for themselves. I don't think that woman had that. Those who have that illness don't always want to kill their kids, they just want the attention they get from their children being hurt. I also don't think the woman deserves the respect the Basketcase gave her for having mental problems. She is still a murderer. I don't care if you have mental isssues. If you do, you give your children to the hospital or other safe haven. There are laws allowing you to do that for the safety of your children. Throwing kids away and killing them is murder. Plain and simple.
A very sick woman who was in need of help. Why can't they just give them up for adoption or foster care? Stupid a--es.
I havent seen the item...but that doesn't happen unless she is mentally ill in some way...please don't rush to judge..I know it's horrific...but there will be some sort of explanation...possibly post-natal depression or a psychosis..
*edit..Its not really about respect...just not judging her like you would judge someone of sound mind, the whole point about a psychosis is that you cannot function mentally, imagining things, paranoia etc... If she was stable enough to get her children to a safe place she probably wouldnt have done it in the first place.

they have a mental condition called munchausen syndrome (i think)
it's when they do intentional harming to themselves or others to get attention
so they kill their children to get attention
i don't watch the news it's depressing and boring =\
i don't know how anybody could do that to their own children!!my god!!if she was mental or sth,then who let her be alone with the children?
