Do you think single girls should get “non bridal” showers? Say if you make it to!

Question: Don't they deserve to get new blenders, pots & pans and expensive sheets?

Yep and expensive jewelry or whatever their taste may be. I like your name.

No way!
lmao- okay--you start the trend- and i'll send you a toaster
Nope - If they want those things, they can buy them for themselves.
no way
I think that that is a great idea if you are grown, single, and sexy
Sure. Divorce showers too. Like when you are with someone and they take all your stuff. GRRRR...
If they're thirty, chances are they already HAVE all that stuff.
Throw yourself a 30th birthday party! That's the why to get all those things you desire. And.... what happens if you decide later on to get married and have already had your 'non-bridal' shower? Do you get to have a bridal shower? Do you have to give back all your presents? Are you even allowed to get married!? Gasp!
;)
Yes they do. I think that was on an episode of Sex and the City.
that's a good idea i never thought of that before...i'm gonna have one when i'm 30, because i seriously doubt i'm gonna get married
No thats what birthdays are for! Even though many had bridal showers ,,we all still need things for around the house..and those gifts wear out and get outdated too...We all should have a shower every so many yrs just for the FUN OF IT!! I guess lots call them birthday parties though..
You still have Christmas and birthdays to get those things. Bridal showers are a celebration, kind of like a birthday. When you get engaged, you get a shower.
I love the spirit of this question! I don't think this will ever happen since it's possible that you could still get married. Besides, bridal shower presents are presents because the girl is getting married. Do you think people will give you presents for not getting married?
I think there should be a single mom shower, too.....
If you need certain new things, ask for them for your birthday or Christmas or have a housewarming party if you are moving into a new home. It's not about deserving them or not.
I agree! This reminds me of that TV movie I saw where the girl decides to have a wedding w/o a groom
Hahahahahha Funny AND inventive as well.

Hmmm, does sound a bit tacky though. I suggest a house warming party even if you have only an apartment, this way you will get your share of gifts from friends and family.
no, I think they should get mu-mu's and an international library card...

throw all yer' razors away...it's wasted on ya...
That's a great idea! Think of all the times we've been to showers for those getting married and all the "stuff" we've had to buy for them over the years. I'm married, but that is still a super idea. We can call the Single Showers and throw them around your 30th birthday.
yeah''
