You can either go to tools, Internet Options, clear history which cleans ALL of your history, even those websites in the scroll down address bar. But not your favorites.

Or you can go to View>Explorer Bar>History. Then right click on the date's folder you want to completely delete. Tah-dah!

Click Tools>Internet Options>Delete Files>Clear History>Click OK

Go to tools, then to Internet options, click on the General tab and read down. The first one is for deleting cookies, the second should be for deleting history. When you find history click on delete, then apply, then ok.....that ought to do it.
