NO just censored!!!!
False
False ?
True,
yes, my ex friends discriminated against the fact that i had converted my religion. I was a Muslim and i converted to Christianity.
True. I don't know why, but some people really have it out for us orphan kickers!
yep only when i was in school
True , I was not allowed to be one of the seven dwarfs in a high school play , although I was very qualified , I think the fact that I was 6' 4" played a major role in the decision making :))
Yes because of Faith in The Lord Jesus Christ
True. I'm mixed. My mother is White, Irish and German and my dad is Black, Cherokee, and Seminole. Well when I was younger I was raised to always say I'm black and white not one or the other. Well I filled out an application for a school and was denied entry. My mom went up to the school to see why and they told her well as the "white slots" have been filled and my mom asked who says my daughter is white? And the principal advised her you did on the application, and my mom pulls out a photocopy of the original application and said I never chose a race on the application because you can only select one and she is to races. In the school system I'm logged under white because my mom is white and it I personally feel like that discrimination. It isn't as bad nowadays, on applications it either has other or multiracial now. But it wasn't like that when I was younger.
True:
Because of my gender so i took a stand and now im exsactly where i want to be!
TRUE!!!!

People were discriminating against my nationality, as well as the fact that I'm "mixed" in nationality, it sometimes makes me feel like I don't belong anywhere!

And THAT'S my story...
True. As you know, there are many forms of discrimination. I was a police officer for many years. My career as a police officer was shortened when i was nearly killed by a drunk driver. After a couple years of hospitalization, I attended and graduated from the university. I tried to get a job, and heard from just a handful of employers. In the mean time, students that ranked much lower than me ( I was in the top third ) were getting jobs with little difficulty. I began to figure out the problem; the resume' exposes your age. I suffered from age discrimination, and also that I was not a member of a "protected group" under the E.E.O.C.
True!! I was offered a job in the NHS but at the time I was being checked for MS, I told the interviewer at the time and she said that wasn't a problem. The checks took longer than expected and turned out to be negative, the problems were due to spinal damage and Fibromyalgia. I didn't have a medical for the job and yet a letter arrived saying that my medical was not satisfactory and the offer was withdrawn. When I asked for a copy of the 'medical' and said I'd never had one they said the nurse said I had and she would send a copy, needless to say it never arrived. I was more than capable of doing the job, I'd done it before, but it was taking too long for the MS to be ruled out. I feel I was discriminated against but couldn't prove it, the NHS is too big to fight.
TRUE: my own dad discriminate me and my girl, he thinks to be human you must know the right move minutes before you have to take it. He discriminate my kind of people the EMO and gothic croud. He threatens to hunt you down and kill you because you have a peircing, or a tattoo. He discriminates me because I have a office job, rather then a tuff physical job where there is hard long ours, where I make more money then him and not do that much physical work.
well not me but my husband does look very much Middle Eastern and with all the security at the airports EVERY TIME we go somewhere he does get stopped and taken to the back to be checked(they think he is an Arab terrorist or something) I used to get so mad but now i laugh when this happens because we know its gonna happen and you gotta brush these things off your shoulders sometimes...so we keep on traveling and laughing together!
True.
Living in a multiracial country is not easy for survival (in term of competition among races). I was discriminated when I applied to further my study in universities. After I graduated, I was again discriminated when I wish to serve the government. The fact of "special quota" set for each races to enter certain sectors or industry are really disappointing!
