If you get a violation for a Best Answer, isn't that more a matter of opinio!

Question: If someone thought it was good enough to give it a best answer... then, well... it just seems very unjust to hand out a violation... :-/

Yeah yeah there's no justice it's all so unfair. I think I'm gonna weep about them lost points and possibly throw myself off of a piece of paper. Then I'm gonna get on the internet and start a campaign to sue Yahoo for..........................let's see eh loss of points and mental trauma resulting. Then again I might just think
10 points what can I do with ten points? in fact what can I do with 10,000 points or even 10,000,000. They aint worth diddly squit so just print out the desired number of points and stick it to you screen. You can probably get an avatar the same way, in fact why don't we all just start sending smoke signals. Now what was that rule about ranting?
the rule was no ranting but wtf Report It

    I agree!
No, because sometimes people choose (or vote for) the funniest or coolest answer, even when it violates TOS. Just because the asker (or voters) like it doesn't mean it complies with the rules.
It doesn't matter. Once it's deleted, you lose the points.
    true....but yahoo wont care
That's the difference between regular members and Yahoo staff.
yes... but we have no control over that..... :(
well i would say that yes it is open to interpritation whether or not it is a violation but there are those gay "rules&guidelines" so what can you do?
Yes , they operate like a Kangaroo court, you really don't have any say in what they approve or not.
i didn't think you could get a violation for an answer to a closed question, never mind of you got the best answer!!!ahah!

    i would defiantly agree!!
Yes, of course everyone is entitled to their opinion, but sometimes certain opinions are offensive in some way (it's someone's judgement call). Remember that as they say... one man's food is another man's poison (Hippocrates).
I don't know how a best answer could be a violation. There should be something in the toc's that addresses this.
It better not been one of the best I gave you.
Eat a codin coated muffin and you feel better.
