Answers: Do the violations fall off after a while??
i did not know this can happen.. how do you get a violation? what make it happen and why would you get in trouble. this is a open form right?
i they fall. I have had lots .. still no problem
I don't know what they do with them. I write back my objections and don't worry about it.
nope they never fall off, and it doesn't matter if you deserved them or not, Yahoo thinks you did, and that's all they care about.

Look forward to the days when you get your account suspended even though you haven't had a violation in weeks. It's like the prize in the Cracker Jack box!
its pathetic
Did you dispute them? I thought the one that I got was invalid, turns out I was in the wrong. Make sure you understand the guidelines.

Good luck!
I don't know for sure, but next time you get one, make an appeal!
Violations stay on your record. If you get too many, your account may be looked at very closely and suspended (canceled) if Yahoo! Answers staff decide you have not been following Community Guidelines.

You can appeal your violations by clicking here:
http://messages.answers.yahoo.com/Answer... if you have replied back to Yahoo using the link contained in the Violation Notices to appeal your deleted questions. If you don't hear anything back, copy and paste the questions from your question folder into your post. A Yahoo staff member will give you an explanation as to why your questions were violations.

Here is a link to the Community Guidelines for your review:
http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_... The rules are very strict and it is difficult to stay within Community Guidelines if you don't know what all the rules are!
You probably didn't deserve any violations. I have noticed they excel in arbitrariness.
I've had WAY TOO many of them for my comfort, and IMHO ALL of them undeserved!

They only "fall off" when you:

1-STOP asking ANY questions
2-STOP ANSWERING any questions
3-Act and sound like Tinkie Winkie and don't OFFEND ANYONE in the WORLD
4-STOP having and EXPRESSING opinions
5-Die tomorrow.... but not really recommended to do!

Can you tell how cynical I am? :P~~~~

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
