I'm out driving a bus full of school kids tomorrow...............?!

Question: how would you keep yourself sane whilst doing my job?

Answers: how would you keep yourself sane whilst doing my job?
Depends on how old they are....

1. 1-4 year olds..... singing works a treat. You see, the trick to keeping sane is to keep them entertained.

2. 5-8 year olds..... playing eye spy or those types of games. It may prevent travel sickness as well! lol. Get them to mostly look OUT of the window.

3. 8-10 year olds....they will probably be on their Nintendo DS or whatever they are called these days.

4. 12-15 year olds....the girls will be too concerned with the boys and vice versa.

5. 15-17 year olds.....id set some boundaries lol.

6. 17-18 year olds - well, you would like to think they will know better than to antagonise the bus driver!

Good luck sir, you are in for a bumpy ride!
you need to go to sleep now
Listen to the Radio!
talk to them - kids can be really entertaining when you let them
One word....iPod
i think id have to burst my ear drums
I have a 5month old and I am of to bed now, so I am sane tomorrow.
find the bridge thats out
just think of the safety of he kids that have been entrusted in ur hands!!!
make sure u get enough sleep as u need 110% concentration wit the little students on board!
have a nice day & drive safely!
Wear ear plugs.
cyanide gas, try it on the kids if it dont work try it on yourself..... rather you than me mate
Well at my kids old school their bus driver used to play a cd of kids tunes and singa along with them, you could here them coming a mile off.

if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
listen to music[=

& give them each a lollipop when they're walking in
but tell them you'll only give it to them if they're quiet
head phones......just don't be like my kids bus driver, if they aren't on the curb when he comes down the street, he leaves them, even if they are coming out of the house. I have complained numerous times but the school is slow to respond...wait a few seconds for the kids at each stop and say hello to them. That helps.

Good Luck...have a star for doing such a hard job!
compose your own version of 'The wheels on the bus' (it wont keep you sane but you'll get to a point where you wont care!!) - oh, & get an air freshener & plastic buckets....if you dont know why, you'll soon find out. Enjoy !
Just stay up all night, tommorow when driving you will be too tired to pay attention to them :)
Dont' do it!
Take a nice day off sick... Stay in bed, watch some TV and chill!
Or, if you can't get away with that... Take ur MP3, and turn up full blast.
It'll just be you, the music, and the road!
Good luck!
Hide a bottle of vodka under your seat and take regular swigs from it.
Prozac would help-for them.
Just give each of them a really creepy smile when they get in and hopefully they will be so scared of you they might behave..If that fails rig up a net full of poisonous spiders over each seat and tip them over the head of them all when you pull up at the lights,(its an offence to do that while driving) then when they stop screaming and breathing go on a nice quiet drive in the country
sing the wheels on the bus... then if some kids sing along, i will say..... SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN!!! like on Southpark. lol
Throw the bus around a bit, keep em too busy holding on to cause any agro......
Phone in sick
Drink neat vodka
Dont let them on....

are you mad...why would any sane person do this...kids...moving transport..madness!

good luck!
put the radio on to a station they like and you can switch your mind of to them.
Make them laugh and they will love you :)
Get each ot them in turn to say something about themselves and where they would like to be when they grow up for two minutes each.
Wait until your bus is full of noisy kids then drive it into a brick wall. That should shut the little sods up. Just plead diminished responsibility. all the noise drove you crazy. I'm sure you'll get away with it.
