Is it possible to be stuck in a time warp as i have not moved on from the 60 to7!

Question: Do you ever feel that you are standing still and are not moving with the times. eg. is Margaret Thatcher still Prime Minister. I don`t get out much and what are those computer things folk talk of on the radio.

Caught up in a time warp? Do your nails grow? Haven't you aged in any way? If you were caught up in a time warp, even your hair wouldn't grow. You would not age. The trees and seasons around you won't change. Day will not change to night! Surely, you are not traveling at the velocity of light for the last ten years, because, if such were the case, even the ten years wouldn't have gone by, nor registered, with you!
Many thanks! You make, even the great Stephen Hawking proud!! You also have the blessings of Feynman and Einstein!!! Any physicist, worth his/her salt, would feel proud of you. God bless you! Report It

  • I warned you not to smoke so much of that stuff. Isn't Margaret Thatcher that young girl with the Lincolnshire accent who's just got into parliament?
don't worry about it, it is really the best time of your life!!!!!!!
ummm. I honestly don't know what you are talking about. lol
I wouldn't worry about it, I am stuck in the 80s.
I wouldn't worry about it, just do your own thing
    LOL !
Me too. Over 50 and I'm still a long haired hippie chick.....
I have heard talk of computers on my transistor but apparently they are the size of a small country. I may wait until they get a bit smaller!
when we can not move on from a thought or memory i suppose we are in a time warp
I think you have `hit the nail on the head` when you say that you don`t get out much.To enable you to live in a contemporary world you have to mix with contemporary people of all ages, your inter-action with them is the way you `keep up to date`.When you do not go out to work or do not go out socially, or read newspapers, you virtually live in a closed world, therefore continue to live with what you know from a time when you did all these things.
