On your profile, you will see: + Add as contact. When someone adds you, that means they like your questions. Now, unless they have disabled it, they will receive each of your questions in an e-mail. The more fans you have, the more answers you will get to your questions.

To become someone's fan, click on their avatar (picture icon) then click on +Add as Contact. This will generate an e-mail to them informing them you've become their fan. Most people, upon receiving this e-mail, click on the link and add you as a contact.

If you enjoy receiving a lot of answers to your questions, having fans drastically increases the number of answers you get!
