How old were you when you moved out of your parents' house?!
Question: 18. I moved off to college. I have visited my parents' house for several periods of time, but I have always consider my 'home away from home' to be my true home. I am most comfortable in my college home, since I am a college student. I guess it's because I don't have the same freedoms at 'home'.

16. It's more than 30 years later and I never once moved back in with them, even though there were brief periods where I was homeless. And yes, I do love my parents very very much!
Just too stubborn to ever go back. :-)
18...3 days after i graduated....wasnt very bright of me....but oh well...
20 or 21... If my memory does not fail me, it was 21... but it may have been 20.

18 then moved back 2 months later, then 22, then moved back 2 years later, then out for good at 25, but they'd take me back in a second if needed, and I'm 37 now!
14 and I never looked back
21, but moved back in, for a few mos., then back out, and sadly, yes back for a year, and then back out, and been out ever since.

18 when I joined the Navy.
16 and I couldn't leave fast enough, but there is something to be said for food and shelter. I was so broke by the end of each month I was eating microwave popcorn and the cheapest, fizziest soda I could find because it filled you up and the pasta was long gone. Expensive to just live.
I was 19 and got married. that was 9 years ago! and now have 3 kids and a new house. I'm still in love with my hubby. I never want to live with my parents ever again, hope it stays that way untill I have to wipe their old tails! lol
