I have 1 I use it in my p/u it's good for traffic info and the truckers tell you where the cops are.
no i dont even know wat that is lol =)
Mine's not hooked up. I used to listen to it when I was driving 83 miles each way to work. I knew where all the accidents were, what lanes were open, and where the speed traps where. Oh, and if I got lost, I could easily get directions.
My hubby has one that his dad gave him...but he hasn't used it for like ever....its out in the garage collecting dust!!!
my daddy does. when i was little we used to talk to people on it. we once talked to someone named Moonman - he claimed he was from space ;)
My husband has several, but he's a truck driver. My sisters and I used to sing on our dad's CB radio (his was a hobby). "Can't touch this." was a favorite.
whats that?
is that something like an ipod?
Breaker, breaker....not me. They were fun in their day weren't they?

edit add Here's a little info for those that missed this fad

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizens'_b...
I keep a CB radio in both my vehicals, the one in my Jeep is permanently mounted and the one in my car is in the truck for emergencies. I use my jeep CB often, listening to the truckers (they have the best traffic info) and when im wheeling around with my buddies a CB beats a cell phone anyday.
we are deciding on which ones to buy now. we want three one for home, one for our personal truck and one for our tractor( me and my husband drive otr as a team)
I've never had one....
I still have mine from 20 years ago in my garage. When we were 17-18 years old, truckers would always park in this lot by a grocery store. We would convince them to buy us beer if we paid them extra. I swear to god it worked. Well, it was 1987.
I have a short wave radio- amazing how many religious channels there are now compared to 20 years ago.
I have a marine radio
mounted on my boat for off shore.... Roger!
nope
