And in 200 years no one will know or care that you existed. If they do remember you for some reason, they'll probaly get all the facts wrong.
I disagree
I agree, it's best that way.
Those who aren't busy being born are busy dying.
no
And have a boogyman dentist?
sounds sensible :)
Reincarnation, I believe in it.

~Otherwise, I won't know any better, so who cares.
hmm....well, i agree with you....
Nice reassuring idea, mysticboy.

However NEWSFLASH - you're gonna die, and you ain't coming back or going to some cushy afterlife.

Sorry. :p
ooooo. i did this meditation. we are all the ocean and our life..ourselves..we are like a wave...and when we die we become one with everything again. i don't fancy being born again tho. i am kinda tired.
technically everyone has existed and will always exist.
energy can never be created or destroyed...therefore you cannot become reborn
you can only be "born again" if you except jesus christ into your heart. so when you die your soul goes to heaven. therefore you have everlasting life
You wont be born again, because once your dead you were never born to begin with. Because you no longer exist. (logical)
LOL. LOL again. when you die go to grave not to your mother's womb. Where is the logic man? and by the by my beliefs I exist after I die, and can never be born again.
no cause if u dnt exist how are u meant 2 be born again it dnt make sense.
Well, i believe u'll reborn till ur 7 cycle of lifes comes to end.
Yes, the molecules that make you up will be recycled for another person. But it's not "you", is it?

It would only be "you" if you could remember a previous life, or learn lessons from a previous life. By definition, it has to be a different person.
vernon,if only it was as easy as that...
Your outer shell is going to become dust, and inner soul is going to, where ever !
you exist . only your body is gone. you become as one with God the light, pure knowledge, you also feel every emotion you've ever caused anyone else to feel. its more real than this!
You die ,if you were to be reborn it would have to follow that some sort of order exists in another dimension,,,,NO WAY
your no different than that dog dead on the side of the road,,the only difference you have someone that will pick you up and bury you,,Humans have Cerimonial Burial,,makes them feel spiritual,,,but ppl believe what they want,,so be it,,live and let live
I refuse to agree/disagree based on the fact it is far too early to be thinking so much!
maybe as a horse. i guess we all will find out eventually.
how can you be born again?
I whole heartedly agree....I think that if you didn't exist before you were born then after you die, then yes, believe we could be born again...very logical and very interesting question....
I never heard so much nonsense in one page....

You all look a tiny bit confused to me.
Good luck!
Asking a question with a statement is worse than answering a question with a question. Bad grammar doesn't add much to the presentation, either.

To answer your [implied] question, I'd say that belief in an eternal soul in some fashion is incredibly popular and may be true; the living might never know.

To answer your [implied] question with a [direct] question, which would be worse to believe: that you return to earth to live another life, or that you go to some other place/plane/universe where your acts on earth are judged and possibly rewarded?

With very little chance that the universal scheme of life and death will be revealed to us, I think that many of the most contributing and rewarding lives have been lived by those that believe their actions will be judged in an afterlife - rather it be a version of heaven, or karma. Regardless of the occurrences of the afterlife - if there are any - our lives should be lived as if we believe we will be judged by our behavior on earth.

If we're unable to learn the facts of afterlife, I suggest we live with the best possible expectation of eternal judgment in some manner. We're guaranteed to be a better contributor to those around us.
Sorry to burst your bubble my friend but once we die we either go to heaven or hell. There is no reincarnation
in Hebrews 9:27-28 it says,

27Just as man is destined to DIE ONCE, and after that to face judgment, 28so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
NO!!!!
