Answers: I turned 34 today. How many of you, that have already had a birthday this year, thought you'd be right where you are today? I never thought, in a million years, that I would be married for 14 years with two kids. I'm also a stay-home mom - which is very "anti who I was back then". My kids are 12 and 11 (she turns 11 in two weeks)...I woke up this morning and realized...HOLY CRAP! I'm getting old.

lol hey Beth, I had my birthday in Sept. and I turned 28 I am also a stay home mom! my kids are 7, and 5 (and I have a 2year old and a 5month old that I keep for the state) and I am doing the same thing your doing! I am who I thought I would be!!! I just thought being who I thought I wanted to be would be different and I spend most of my day singing Reba's "Is there life out there" LOL We are not old were well seasoned!!! LOL happy birthday

Once you hit 30 it is considered old. Ask anyone in the mid 20s how they view someone in their 30s, they will say old.

Happy Birthday! :) No, I never thought I'd be where I am now. If it wasn't for my children I wouldn't make it. I realized the aging thing when my mom died, then my uncle died and now a very good friend has died. I hate it.

I am turning 34 in an hour or so. I don't have a problem with my age but I am once again questioning where I am at this age. I am a single mum of 3, never married, at home (trying to run my own business), with a degree that I have never used & I have only achieved a few goals that were on my list. But life has taken me on a different path and I try to enjoy that. I may not be where I planned to be but in the last year it's become quite apparent to me that I am where I am supposed to be; all that I have done up until now will be of us to me in my future endeveavour, which is to run a teaching/healing & community centre.

So maybe as we blow out our candles we can look at it all as an adventure, and hopefully there will be many more to come :)
