Was there something you didn't get to do when you were little that you wish !

Question: I always wanted to take ballet lessons, but my mom never let me. She said I was to clumsy to take them, and that I would get hurt. I find myself wishing that I had taken them. I'm jealous of my friend who is an amazing dancer, and I feel jealous whenever I watch ballet clips. I had always wanted to do it, and I really wish I had. It might have helped with my clumsiness, and I love dancing. Does anyone else feel this way about something? Share your story.

Ms. Miller my 8th grade teacher
Kept up with my viola lessons. I was getting pretty good but it was the schools viola and they provided lessons. After a year of lessons you had to be in Band and I so did not want to be in Band so I quit.
learn the piano! I still love to listen to it and dream.
Horseback riding lessons...it always looked so cool...
own a puppy. my parents were not having it. it's probably the reason i don't want a dog now.
I wish I had been more forceful on telling my parents I wanted to take up some kind of extracurricular activity. Never happened....oh well.
I wish i had stayed in dancing
Omigod. i was going to say that exact same thing. My cousin got to take them and if we'd lived closer I probably would have gotten to go with her. I am not sure why I never got to go. I mean they FORCED me to take piano lessons not that they worked! My daughter took dance lessons for six years and loved it. I guess you DO live through your kids.
Have friends.
i wish I would have gotten this one toy Optimus Prime back in 1984 when toys were made with real metal
I wish I'd taken piano lessons. Many people tell me my fingers are long enough to do it. I find the beat in music quickly and start to drum it out with my fingers. Now, I don't have a piano or the time to take lessons.
I always wanted a pony when i was little , my dad promised he would buy me one if he won or gained lots of money , the sad fact is he won an immense amount of money and i am still waiting for my pony :( I still love horses and still wish i could have one ... (30 yrs on ! )
I thought at the time that I wanted to do everything. Unfortunately we were "dirt-floor poor" so I didn't do much of anything that costed money.
I now know that the things I learned to do for free actually have given me more benefits in my adult life.
Also as clumsy as I am, dancing of any kind would have been a really cruel joke.
