get a box knife and start cutting around the carbon footprint...after you have comepletely went around it carefully lift it up and throw it away or burn it. Viola- all gone

get rid of your car and buy a bicycle
next get a damp cloth and dab at the footprint then buy some vanish soap and follow the instructions finally shampoo your carpet
place a tree on the very spot, after 3 hours you should see visible results.
By simply using elbow grease, believe it or not!
