LOL! No, that has never happened at my workplace.
That's never happened to me, but five years ago I had a job interview get disrupted. It was in a skyscraper in downtown Seattle, and some PETA protestors decided to set off a smoke bomb in a nearby building. Once they figured out there was no threat to the building where I was, the interview proceeded normally. However, the police had cordoned off enough streets that getting out of downtown and back home was a major pain in the behind. Makes me glad I didn't end up working in Seattle!
That has never happened, but we have drills for just this sort of thing.
Never because of a protest, but once the entire downtown area was evacuated due to a bomb theat. It turned out there was no bomb, but we didn't go back to work that day.
