Is it wrong to spank or hit your kids?!
Question: nope. beat their @ss! Alot of people let their kids run over them .. you have to be an assertive and aggressive parent. Know when to beat the child's @ss. Abuse is one thing, discipline is another. For example... your child is nagging and throwing an all out fit because he/she wants something out the candy aisle. .. SMACK his/her behind! there's nothin wrong with that. If your child is trying to play with and electrical socket..you just can't tell them no you can't do that .. pop his/her hand! When you are and assertive parent you can just make certain expressions when your kid knows no to test you. Assert..you should never channel your aggressions to your kids though. Thats when abuse comes into play.

I'm a social worker. In the state I live in it is not against the law to hit your kids, but you can't hit your kids and leave a mark. I don't have kids but I plan on using physical discipline when I do. But I think only as a last resort. I think that before parents do that they should make sure they're not angry. If they are walk away and cool off!!! That's how kids are beat. But I think there are other ways to discipline your kids without hitting them.
I was spanked, and I was fine. I just knew not to do something again. My parents love me and I love them.
But some people have no wisdom and should not spank their kids.
