Have you ever had to call 9-1-1?!

Question: What happened?

Answers: What happened?

I was in college and working at a Hotline and got a suicide call. She made it though. They pumped her stomach. Don't know what happened from there. Lost track of her. Always wonder if she's still alive.

No my mom does when she sees a stranded driver on a highway, though.

I didn't,although my sister in law did when her brother got stabbed right outside my front yard.

no and i hope i would never have to

Once when I was in a car accident,,they had to get a tow truck for my car to get it out of a dtich on the highway....luckily I wasn't hurt.

Yes. They came to my mom's house and arrested my dad on his birthday.

yes...my partner at work had his leg chopped off by an i- beam that fell on him.i had to pull him out from under it using the crane.

no, knock on wood

I work in a home for elderly people so I do it about once every other month or so for serious injuries from a fall, someone passing out, not being able to breathe, or complaining of chest pain.

yes to save a life, and it was mine. I had to run befor they arrived or I would be dead by a crazy person.

Yes, twice. Both times were because of my grandma and one of the times was because I thought she was having a heart attack.

I am 911...I had to bring the firetruck a few times to my house...Once my nephew had a seizure, 2 times for my mom, another nephew that had an accident and was paralyzed, for two of my sisters, one fell, the other some medical reason...

Done so on several occasions, to report road hazards or a breakdown.

Yes I have called 911 many times... One time sticks out the most so I will tell yall about that... I was working at a hotel at the front desk It was early morning or night I cant remember so I was the only person working in the front.. Then the fire alarm goes off and I smell smoke then all ppl start calling the front desk and running to the front to see if its a fire I called 911 for the fire dept and then like 10 fire men stormed in and I almost fainted because it was hot.. lol anyways I had like 100 ppl in the lobby I didnt know what to tell them a fire alarm is going off loud and I have hot fire men running around everywhere... :) OK now I shared my story :) Oh it was no big deal something was wrong with something little that caused smoke that made the alarm go off.. then everyone went back to there rooms and the firemen left The End

No.

I did, a few times... here a story about one of em....

My dad was a keyholder for an apartment complex and he got a call from a kid, and the kid said he knows this elderly guy that cant get out of the house, so the kid does the guys shopping and stuff every other week, well he came this time and the guy didnt answer the door, so when me and my dad got there to check it out, we saw like 2 weeks worth of newspaper outside, well i ended up calling 911, before trying to open the door so there was a cop there when we entered, well the old guy apparently changed his locks cause our key didnt work so the cop kicked in the door and they guy had a plastic bag over his head with a hose shoved in there and a helium tank running to the hose, so he killed himself with helium. The sad thing is that the kid is the one that brought the lil tank of helium 2 weeks prior because the old guy said he was having a b-day party for a grandson and needed it to blow up baloons so he sent the kid to the party store. it was disgusting, and the smell was just crazy, he was dead for so long.

Another time was just a couple months ago when A 5 year old kid got shot in a drive by, near my house. ( i live in florida ) some of you may have heard about that kid getting killed....

one more, I had to call 911 when I seen a van slide and it flipped multiple times in front of my grandmas house, ( i was mowing the grass) it killed all 5 adult passengers and the only surviver was a 2 year old cause he was in a car seat and hanging upside down, so we helped him out... I've seen some crazy stuff, i guess i am always in the wrong place, or right place, depends on how you look at it

Touch wood never

Oh, heck, ya! Let's see how many I can remember ...

Once while working at Hardee's years ago. We were robbed at gunpoint by two guys in ski masks. I'm not kidding.

Three times (Yeah, three!) while I was working at Seven Eleven, also years ago. Once because a lady from an apartment nearby ran in and told me her kitchen was on fire. Once because a guy attempted to rob us at knife point and my co-worker broke his wrist with a baseball bat.

And once - I'm absolutely serious about this - the neighborhood kids ran in and told me there was a body floating in the river across the street. I didn't believe them, of course, but I went to look, and, sure enough, there was. Poor guy was a semi driver who wrecked off a bridge about thirty miles upstream. They'd been looking for him for a week.

More recently, I was awakened before dawn by a couple arguing their way up the sidewalk in front of my house. Luckily, I got up to check it out. The man grabbed her arm and shoved her into the street in front of a car. She wasn't hit, but I called the cops. I hope they broke up.

At my current job we have our own in-house security (county sheriffs) and EMTs, and I've called them three times. Once for a fight between a guy and his girlfriend (She was winning.), and twice for people who either fainted or passed out. Hard to tell if it's exhaustion, the heat, or the beer at rock concerts.
