If i asked a rhetorical question, would people answer?!


Question: Most of the time, people would know it was rhetorical and not answer, but sometimes you come across the odd person who does not recognise a question as being rhetorical, and answer it seriously.

I once answered a question on Answers, and added an rhetorical question at the end, and got reported for it. So Here's a tip... try not to put in rhetorical questions in your answers. I appealed but to no avail.

    Try it. That's my answer to this question. By using the word rhetorical in your question does not make it a rhetorical question in the context that you have used it in.
    My guess is yes, most people will answer anything 'cos it's free points (Yippee).
