I am completely awkward around people, so I prefer being by myself.

I like to be around people cause I have more fun that way and girls always wanna have fun
To be honest sometimes being alone is what I love to do. My husband is in the navy so I have gotten used to being alone. You have to find some joy in it or you'll go crazy. But I do enjoy the company of friends and families.
I like both but being alone more. This is because I recharge when I am alone, not when I am with people. (For some it is the opposite, they get their energy when they are around people).
I have only two best friends and they are my two daughters. I hate people. Most people my age act like they are in elementary school and it drives my nuts!!!
I like to be around ppl. when i am alone i tend to overeat, wander around the house aimlessly, and i hate being bored.

couldnt say, just dont get along with people well. I can never find anything to talk about and then we're both standing there and its all quiet and im like... ya... youre annoying. Plus when theres noone around i can hum music i like or something without feeling stupid

Why?
I always think about that question people ask : If you were stranded on a desert island what would you want with you. I figure people must be important if that question has any meaning. You would be in need of food and basic needs too, but I figure it's speaks of a deaper need as well. One to be around people. It's nice to see other ways of doing things or acting and then come home to your place and in my case read the bible, pray to or worship Jesus.
