Some yes, some no. This is usually based on the old "who cares more" rif. When I "care" more, I feel I'm the one "giving" more... Obviously (to me, anyway...) it's based on feeling insecure about the "realtionship". (How I hate that expression!)

In every relationship I've ever been in until now. I guess I just had to wait for the right one. It's nice to be on the receiving end sometimes....
I am going through divorce. I definatley think I gave more than I ever received. We had to discuss how the bills were divided. I told him all the bills are items in his possesion. Not mine. We were in a bad way for a while now. I tried everything I could think of to save us. He just never gave anything back. Not respect, $, honesty, emotionally, romanticly...............not a thing. Sad huh?

I think there are too many guys who don't want real
relationships....or know how to care or treat a person right...
...so...I rather be with a nice guy than a guy who can't show they care and be there for me....(a lot of guys want you to be there for them....but I just can't do that....be their girlfriend...somewhere it seems guys think a girlfriend is somene who does everything for them...not someone to love and show they love them....)
Some people are givers and some people are takers. Some feel that they give everything, but it's not what the other wants and doesn't recognize it as giving.
I once felt as though I was the giver. It took me over 15 years to recognize the gift that I was given. I am the receiver who thought he was the giver.
I always try. I consider someone I have been Blessed with as a treasure... They may have gotten the short end of the deal. True happiness is always putting the one you love first and you get your pleasure seeing them happy. Both win.
