I don't think anyone really understands love.I've had 4 wives and more lovers than I am able to remember. The ones that cling to my memory are mostly the ones that got away. I have loved to varying degrees.
I know that I loved 2 of my wives deeply and a few of my girlfriends and 2 from afar.
If you asked me this question in my youth , it would have been simpler. I do not care for my answer, but truth is like that. I did not tell the stories, it would be too long.

Just once, right now! I have been with him over 3 years. :) He's like the big brother I've never had because we care about each other soooo much. He's also my best friend. We share everything with each other. I don't know where I'd be without him in my life. :)

never. i've dated a little, and i've cared about them, but i've never loved them, (in a sense other than in friendship). It's okay they didn't love me either, lol so it's not like it was a bad thing. We both agreed that we were not in love, so it was no worries. I've no real regrets, and neither do they; which is good. Maybe that's not what you're looking for, but it's honest.

I believe that if I ever find myself to fall in love with someone else.. than I really wasn't in love with that other person...just in deep like. Falling in love more than once does not exist. You fall in love once, and everything before and after is or was just deep like.
3 times for me, and i'm only 13 XP. The first time was in grade 2 so i didn't really KNOW what love was :p. Plus it turned out the guy i liked in grade 2 was a total jerk!
The second time was last year, this guy liked me and me being unexperienced thought i should like him back. Turned out he was a playa!! D; (He liked like all of the girls in my last year class!! Plus he was a perv!! XP)
The third time was like the beginning of this school year, i thought i liked him as more than a friend (plus ppl would always tease me saying we were going out) but when we actaully tried going out, turns out i only liked him as a brother (brotherly way i mean) and he liked me in a sisterly way.
Now i'm just waiting for the RIGHT guy to come along >.>

he used to be my best friend last year and the other year we were just friends. now this year he asked me out and i just like him! lol
and the 1st time i like him for 5 years. :) but then we moved away from eachother. still talk once in a while.

for me its 3 first bfl lasted 3 years but doomed from the start my parents did not approve. next my husband last 30 years but treated me like a punch ball stayed for the childrens sake but left when thy left home now got a wonderful partner who treats me with respect and lots of love.
