Why does the "weekend" fly by so quickly??? Why is it Monday again???!

Question: The weekend would not fly by so fast if we worked two days a week and had five off. Instead, we work five, to make somebody else able to live well.

Meanwhile, we get two days to ourselves. One of which we spend recouperating from the five. The other we try to find something fun to do that we can afford; but most are closed because it's Sunday.

In the end, we retire, old and broken and wonder what it was all about. And our boss is still living well, has sent his brood to college so they can run big businesses and industries that hire our children. And the cycle goes on, in an unbroken cycle; as it has done since before history was written.

After all, somebody had to build the pyramids... Sure wasn't the Pharaohs... Isn't it amazing what people will do on a promise of a 'better life in the afterlife'?

Just look what the radical, fundamentalist muslims do on a promise of "rivers of wine", unlimited sexual pleasures, eighty thousand servants, seventy-two wives, virgin maidens who will be enjoyed by men with enhanced sexual stamina, and so on.

It is an interesting study in motivational science.

Dennis Miller disclaimer: "Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

Time flies when you are having fun

cuz you pressed the wrap zone button

Time just flies when you have just started relaxing strangely

just think, only 5 more days till the weekend starts again

Time never stops moving and sometimes its faster than usual

I've been wondering the same thing since I got up!!!

I know right, it seems like.. when im in school the week goes by soo slow, then the weekend goes by all fast, i think becuz they want us to go in school. I dont know but i hate it.

Any time a person is'nt working time seems to go quicker

Because time and tide waits for no man!

The weekend is only 2 days and the week is 5 days.

That's what I wanted to know. Everything seems to be so slow, then some family time comes and it just flies by. UGG! :P

"Time flies when you're having fun" And it sure seems to!
I'm on my vacation now, and boy is it flying by fast! As soon as I get back to work however, the days/weeks will just creeeeeep by!!

Because we spend most of our time in Y!A and don't see it pass...Sat came and went by, so did Sunday... now? It's Monday again! Goodness.... I better get busy...
