Has anyone suffered any ill effects from waking a sleeping dog?!

yeah...boxers are harmless...besides they probably can't hear the vacuum over the sound of their own snoring...my baby is sooooooooo loud

My dog runs out of the room in terror the moment he sees a vacuum cleaner! Nothing gets past him!
nah, although she is a heavy sleeper so best not to wake her (probably the answer my hubby wud give if he was on here lol) if ya get what i mean. but our dog farts a lot while sleeping and man do those bad boys smell!!
I hate waking my dog. She jumps straight on my lap and gives me a huge doggy breath kiss, then has a huge stretch and wraps her paws around my neck. She feels all warm and smells of sleep and if I don't put her down she goes back off to sleep in seconds. I wake her 6 or 7 times a day and snuggle down at night with her too. As I say horrible.

I learned when I was a kid, it's best to let sleeping dogs lie! Still have the bite marks in my leg, and that was many years ago!
I don't have a dog but 3 cats and one of them loves to be hovered. He just sits there and enjoys being sucked by the hover. lol
