Do smokers tend to use more spices when cooking, than non smokers?!

I smoke, and I do not over spice.
I don't know if it's a rule, but smokers tend to have messed up taste buds and less of a sense of smell. When I smoked, I didn't really notice if there was too much of whatever spice in my food. I quit three years ago and now I'm very sensitive to how much spice is in my food. Garlic is the worst! :)
Hmm... That is interesting. I smoke and I have never noticed.
No not really ..I smoke only really spice up the food if it is called for..but I like it a little spicey
