why are you scared of them?

I like to see them in the sky, but I am terrified of them.Too many corner shops sell them to kids. One shop that I lived by had the teenage son out in the street throwing fireworks at his friends one night when he was supposed to be looking after the shop.My husband went out and shouted at them and said he'd reported it to the police.
I think they should only be on sale for large organisations that hold displays for the public. My dog is scared of the bangs too, she will be a bundle of nerves again in a few weeks.Although, I have to say, the fireworks in recent years do seem to have gone a little quieter.
I hate the sudden bangs they make and the fear of being injured by them.Especially if they are in the wrong hands.

No as long as its miles away

no

I hate them with a passion. I don't think Joe public should be allowed to buy fireworks.

no, I LOVE fireworks, they are awesome and light up the sky beautifully, who in the world would be scared of them? What is there to be scared off?

I'm not, I love them, I'm responsible with them though.

no way... I love them, can't get enough of them. My family buys a ton each july 4th and new year's eve. I put on a real big fireworks show each time.

i got hit in the bum with one ....
ahaha it didn't hurt that much
but man they are fun ( this was when i went on holiday to malaysia )

Yes Im very much afraid

no

I love fireworks, when they are used properly; I guess I would be scared of idiots chucking them around!
I was not allowed to have fireworks when I was a kid, partly for religious reasons and partly because my parents were a bit over protective, so I think that is why I like them so much now - they have the lure of the forbidden!

You have not to scare them, it is all in your brain, there is no doubt that fireworks can't hit you, so the first thing you can do, is to see the fireworks, but WARNING: the first time go with a human-guy, that will not tease you, if you scary with the fireworks, OK?
Hope I help, be patient, you might usual this!!!
bye-bye for now!!!

Love them as long as you a careful with them

had one thrown at me when i was a baby

Nope. here catch this! haha

thumbs down? *cry*

Not really .... I am sometimes ... Its just the noise of them and the way they shoot up into the air I really don't like being too close

im not scared of them, but i do think kids are recless with them.more steps should be taken to prevent kids getting hold of fireworks

It was the same at my school I can remember a girl getting hit in the leg by one during break once but then my school was one of the worst in London!! I don't really like them but I don't mind watching them from a distance!! I can remember when I was little being so scared of them in my uncles garden I fell in his pond!! xx

I am not scared of them unless there is some idiot letting them off where they shouldn't be. That is dangerous and yes I would be scared but I love to see them displayed the way they are intended.

I'm not frighten of fireworks, however I am worried about them getting into the hands of the wrong type of person

A little, because when I was at school the kids used to do that too.
So many people got injured because of the idiots letting them off in the corridors. The teachers even started checking our bags every day on the way in - they never caught anyone though.
It's ridiculous.

Organised firework displays can be great fun though, I've never had a bad experience at one.

I only get scared of the big noisy ones! However, I love the ones that are pleasing to the eyes, the ones that light up the skies with colour!!!

No. Do you think i look like some kind of Scaredy cat? No i did'nt think so. I love fireworks, in every sense of the word!

I hate fireworks full stop, noisy, dangerous and should only be sold for displays, my poor dog is already terrified of going out most days because of them, the old guy next door who's blind panics and I coped some kids trying to tie a banger to a cat yesterday afternoon, that is disgusting, how can anyone do that to an animal.

I am not personally scared of them....But I am worried when I see groups of teanage kids hanging round public areas throwing them....and stuff!

Wow that's a lot of reading. ok bye.
