Do you find repeaters annoying???!


Question: Example: I was at work yesterday and was chatting with my co workers and I said something funny, When all of a sudden one of them starts laughing and says "You said!" Then told me exactly what I just said as though I forgot it already or didn't hear it.

Has this ever happened to you?
Is It annoying?
How many of you will type exactly what I just typed in a lame attempt at humor???

That is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves. I hate when people do that!
It spoils any joke because people stop laughing to look at the jerk that is saying: "HA HA you said ____!!! Did you hear that? He said ____!!!"

    they are validating your humor. Its a nice gesture
    I don't find it annoying anymore, i use too, now i find it cute, its because of my best mates does this ALL the time, i just got use to it.

    I usually stop them in the middle and say- I know you told me. Usually people forget who they've told what to. They don't really want to tell you twice.


    Unless they are old. Like my grandparents. They can retell me things a zillion times.
