I think Definitely |Harry Potter, the way it takes you right into his fictional world, which keeps you wanting to go back and read more.
Words that are made up, as part of the story, such as "muggles" come alive as though they were real, somewhere.
You almost start to understand his world as if it were real. Great , Very clever.
A good book should totally captivate your imagination, and Harry Potter does that. Adults and children, alike, both enjoy the book.
I also think that the book is much better than the film, far more descriptive, and makes the mind work harder, taking you on a wild journey into the magical world of Harry Potter.
Great book.
Lord of the rings , I do not think it's quite as good as it's not quite so captivating.

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter and love Lord of The Rings as well it was great on the big screen.
Harry Potter always wins.
I think Tolken is a better writer then Rowling...but i like the storyline of Potter better.
