Ok bands is gonna be hard cuz I like more solo singers than bands but I'll do it anyway
1. Linkin Park - the one band that my bf and I have in common
2. The Red Hot Chili Peppers - I luv Anthony Kiedis and RHCP just writes the best songs, Scar Tissue is still as amazing as the first time I heard it
3. Jonas Brothers - I know, I know. They don't really count as a band and they're Disney-based but they really are breaking out of that and I love em
4. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - I feel bad for people who judge them only by "Face Down". They have WAYYYY better songs. Face Down is good but the others like 20 Hour Drive, Justify, Atrophy... even better!
5. Motion City Soundtrack - I only discovered them a couple months ago while watching a Hoistroii vid on YouTube but I love them now, too. Haven't yet gotten a MCS CD yet, unfortunately...
6. Fall Out Boy - They're different, I like them and I have no idea why
7. Buckcherry - Their newer stuff is getting pretty weird but hopefully they won't pull a "Green Day" and put out a bunch of new crap
8. L.P. - Ok I've only heard one song from them but I'm gonna go check out some more right... after I finish this answer!
9. The Rocket Summer - I have So Much Love for this band xD
10. Within Temptation - I'm hoping their having a comeback since I just heard them on SIRIUS Hits 1 so I'm keeping my fingers crossed
