If money can lure a person away from their spouse, then they really didn't have the affection to begin with.
But smart move on behalf of the plumber!!
I think he don't care much that she left, but saw an opportunity, and why not the law is law!
What he won was just a drop in the bucket for this rich guy, hes proble spent more on legal fees. But matter of principle now. So if he takes it to the supreme court and wins then guess he wins fare and square?

I agree with you

he won thats final

So she was trapped in a dead marriage living on a low income, um, could they not have gone to marriage/financial counselling to see what options there are for the husband to earn more money? She had to sleep with her boss?

This sounds like a plotline for an episode of "Desperate Housewives."

Ignore the complaints from ardent feminists complaining about an outdated law, he won fair and square. Now, if the plumber had also abused her, physically and verbally, it may have been different. But this was tramping for the sake of tramping. I'm on the husband's side.
