What is the reason for you lighting a candle?!
Question: I have about 63 candles that I light each night and everone of them has a name to them, some names that are on my contact list and others for family and friends. I do this as a way to say that I think of them.

What a special thing to do. That is something kind and caring. I light candles for the same reasons. When someone is sick, needs assistance, or just like you said...needs to know that you are thinking of them. Would'nt it be nice if we all lite a candle at the same time and thought about each other !! Imagine if everyone went outside and held a large candle and formed a line...how it would look from space. nice thought.

I usually light a candle when it is a hot summer night, I don;t have to go to work the next day and I have a drink in my hand and am listening to Pink Floyd (Usually "wish you were here") or Jean Michelle Jarre.
To watch the flickering flame and see the shadows bounce against the walls.
